APPLICANT MUST BE LICENSED IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA

SUMMARY:
Adjust large, complex Personal Lines losses in excess of $150,000. Write detailed Xactimate building repair estimates on both fully assigned and co-adjusted claims. Full validation of Contents and ALE components of each claim and actively participate with Subrogation investigations.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Travel to inspect/adjust large complex Personal Lines property claims within your assigned territory plus be available for back-up assignments anywhere in continental US.

Participate as storm team member to handle large storm/catastrophe losses. Serve as a PL MCU expert resource to the CAT team and handle /manage those claims that are within MCU threshold. When required function as the on-site MCU manager. Establish and operate storm claim office in situations that do not qualify for a CAT coordinator/supervisor. Be available to field offices as a consultant on issues of coverage and damage.

Evaluate and investigate claims for any possible fraud, arson and subrogation & salvage recovery potential; direct/manage investigation with experts. Select and supervise legal counsel for litigation management. Qualify as expert to testify in court as appropriate.

Develop scope of building losses including on-site inspections written Xactimate repair estimates; inventory and validate complete Contents loss; evaluate losses to secure appropriate experts needed and secure agreed prices with contractors.

Serve as a mentor to claim reps and unit managers. Co-adjust losses by taking a claim rep and/or unit manager to loss site. Conduct field office training sessions. Interact with agents/brokers as well as our Marketing/Underwriting partners to facilitate communication and customer service.

CERTIFICATES/DEGREES:
An adjuster's license may be required pursuant to applicable state statutes. Georgia license is mandatory

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Maintain advanced conflict resolution skills, plus strong negotiation skills to facilitate settling claim at appropriate resolution. Developed and experienced communication skills required to understand, interpret, direct and convey highly technical information to individuals from varied levels of expertise. Writing skills must be able to complete prompt electronic notes, detailed technical CFA summary reports, and legal correspondence and management memos.

Other:
Expert mastery knowledge or skill level in Personal Line property claims.
A working knowledge/skill level in accounting, math, administrative support, financial analysis, litigation, and personal lines insurance products.

Sense of urgency, able to prioritize, ability to work alone in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to plan, execute strategies with other organizations, resources, authorities.
