Summary:
Responsible for supervising and overseeing operations of support unit including training, assigning tasks, checking work and conducting performance discussions.
Supervisor will create and manage departmental quality checks using Excel to track weekly performance.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operations of Claim Support Services.
- Accountable for workflow/ writing and maintaining procedures related to support staff.
- Prepares and conducts semi-annual and annual performance evaluations/discussions.
- Liaison between support staff and Claim Professionals (Unit Managers, Claim Handlers).
Education / Work Experience:
College degree or equivalent work experience.
Prior leadership position a plus.
Other:
Familiarity with the insurance industry.
