Job Summary:

Seeking an environment architect to support line of business mission-critical complex services based applications. Working with the team-s solution architects, this person will be responsible for the architectural design and detailed specification of infrastructure components to support web front ends, middleware, database technologies, and business to business interfaces. The position also requires deep knowledge of software development life cycles and design of environments to support them. This individual will also have responsibility for working with internal and external service organizations in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of development, test, and production environments. The candidate must be able to interact with project managers, service delivery managers, subcontractors, support personnel, and other stakeholders.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong infrastructure architectural design and implementation skills.

Virtualization using VMWare ESX

J2EE infrastructure deployment

.Net infrastructure deployment

An understanding of Agile SDLC-s.

Knowledge of automated build and deployment processes.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Deep knowledge of Internet technologies.

A demonstrated ability to keep abreast of new technologies.

Strong leadership and organizational skills including experience mentoring junior team members.

Strong verbal and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to document technical information.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, managers, product specialists and business customers.

Ability to respond to pressure/plan work to meet deadlines when work speed and sustained accuracy are critical.

Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple customers.

Ability to be an effective team player.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in related field, AND

5+ years of architectural experience and/or relevant experience, OR

Any similar combination of education and experience.
